Au Pairs in Central New Jersey Participate in Flowers for Nepal Challenge
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon Au Pairs in Central New Jersey participated in the Flowers for Nepal Challenge. With magazines, flower patterns, tissue paper, crayons and scissors in hand the au pairs created flower garlands. It was great to see how creative everyone was.
This project was in conjunction with Cultural Care Kids First Foundation to help children in Nepal devastated by the earthquake.
The Bezos Family Foundation will match each garland with $2–up to $200,000–for Save the Children’s humanitarian relief efforts. Save the Children will use these funds to provide young children with educational supports that include temporary spaces for learning, safe spaces for play, back-to-school kits, repairs to damaged schools–and they will also deliver a selection of your garlands to children.
