Our September meeting is this week Sunday September 9, 2012 Annual New York City Scavenger Hunt.   This is a fantastic event and a favorite of many au pairs. 

Au Pairs will have to find locations, take pictures, answer some questions and find items and the first 3 teams back with every item completed will win. It will be a race/scavenger hunt.

Au Pairs from all over New Jersey, Connecticut and New York will be participating 
We will meet in New York City (Please go together to New York with other au pairs if you are unable to find someone to go with let me know and I will help you find someone. 

When: Sunday September 9th at 10:45 am

 Where: Bowling Green Park  located on the corner of Broadway and Whitehall Streets in Downtown Manhattan Manhattan:http://www.nycgovparks.org/park-features/future-parks/lower-manhattan-redevelopement/bowling-green-park  ( It is the park with the Charging Bull )
If you are taking the New Jersey Transit train to Penn Station their are 2 trains that are close to Bowling Green Park southbound from Penn Station  N and R lines will take you to Whitehall Street 4 and 5 lines will take you to Bowling Green 
If you are taking the bus into Port Authority Terminal the train to take is one of the following trains below southbound  N and R lines will take you to Whitehall Street 

When you arrive look for me to sign in and get directions. We are also asking for a $1.00 donation for Kids First. 

As an added bonus following the Scavenger Hunt we have visitor passes to the 9/11 memorial. . For those going we will need to meet as a group at 2 pm at Trinity Place and Thames Street to pick up our reserved passes and enter together.
